Two New Fiat EVs Coming Soon

The 500e is currently the only all-electric Fiat, but soon two more models will join the ranks! Stellantis, the parent company of Fiat, shared the exciting news that Fiat will launch two new electric vehicles in the latter half of 2023. While Fiat did not reveal any specifics on the two new EVs, we do have some educated guesses based on previous statements from the company.

What Do We Know About the New Fiat Electric Cars?

Based on Fiat’s announcement last year, one of the new electric vehicles could be the Fiat 600. Resembling the Jeep Avenger, the Fiat 600 will most likely produce 154 horsepower and a range of around 300 miles. The production of the car is taking place in the same Polish facility that builds the Avenger and the EV is predicted to have a similar multimedia display.

The second Fiat EV is predicted to be the new Fiat Punto, which will share the same Common Modular Platform as the Opel Corsa and Peugeot 2008 in structure. This platform is designed to provide a lightweight, versatile structure that can be used for a variety of vehicle models. The small hatchback should come in an electric and hybrid option, both of which will provide an efficient and eco-friendly driving experience. 

Both of these EV releases will keep Fiat on track on track to achieve its goal of having an entirely electric line-up by the end of the decade. Fiat’s CEO has made this goal a priority and is committed to creating a sustainable and greener future for the company. This move is part of a larger industry trend towards reducing emissions and creating more efficient and eco-friendly vehicles.
